At any given moment, there are tens of thousands of boats for sale. It’s mind boggling. And intimidating. Not to mention sort of insane.
We will assist you, via phone, email or text, in determining the vessels that are appropriate for your intended use, alert you to known issues with particular vessels and assist in determining a reasonable offer based on recent sales of comparable boats. We’ll consult with you about resale values and anticipated cost of ownership and what you might expect to spend on needed upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
The idea being to keep you grounded in reality while you’re running around falling in love.
And we’ll continue to work with you until you’ve closed the deal and the boat is yours. (Champagne not included.)
Leading up to that happy day, we’ll point you toward surveyors who irritate brokers, insurance agents with actual hearts and marinas and moorage options you might not have considered.
All this, and more, for the incredible and somewhat random price of $1,200. (I mean, it seems reasonable if I don’t think about it too much.)
Some clients find their dream boat in only a few weeks. Most, within a few months. Some can take much longer still.
The process starts with a call — usually 45 minutes to an hour — where we’ll get a solid handle on just what you’re looking for and the parameters of your intended use, purchase price, costs of ownership, and the other fine details that go into finding your boat.
